TRY WITH RIGHT INSTRUCTION FROM GIVEN BELOW
STEP 1: Flash Given backup_UNLOCKED BIOS
STEP 2: Boot the machine
STEP 3: Press ENTER/F1/esc. to enter BIOS settings
STEP 4: Enter 1234 PRESS ENTER
when asked for Password
STEP 5: Press ENTER when it shows Hardware ID
STEP 6: Press space bar 2 Time when asked 1 by 1
STEP 7: Turn off machine
STEP 8: now again open laptop and write your original BIOS file which you have post here ( backup.rar )
STEP 9: Reset BIOS settings to factory default

Good day. I apologize if I posted this in the wrong topic. I saw somebody selling a Thinkpad E495 with a Ryzen 3500U CPU near me. In the pictures the laptop is running windows 10. I contacted the seller and asked a few questions about upgradability and if it has a bios password on it. He confirmed it has a bios password. I searched through the forum, I found a guide regarding removing the bios password using the autopatcher, I also found a thread with the e495 where people requested help with unlocking the bios password.

I have a laptop that was purchased second-hand, and I am able to boot Windows on and extract the BIOS dump (ONLY the BIOS region, I was unable to dump anything else due to an FCERR I received trying to dump the other regions) and use normally. However, because the BIOS is locked with a supervisor password, I am unable to use anything else except for Windows, and it has also disabled some hardware features of the laptop itself, such as the fingerprinting module, etc. that I really do wish to use.
I have been digging around for nearly 2 weeks trying to find any mention of the same model... -
