at post #12 you have the bios from the Lenovo support page, at post #13 someone confirms that the bios works, so either you write the bios with errors, or the laptop has another problem..

Post your bios backup, you will need an SPI bios programmer to do that.

                      Hello everyone,
I'm a newbie with bios and I initially flashed the bios from post #14 and then I wanted to try to restore the serial number and model number which were invalid so I followed the guide but I'm not sure of the result.
I'm also not sure because if I try to flash the newbios.bin file I get the following error: "ERROR 233 - Only secured capsule is allowed on a SecureFlash system!"

Could someone more knowledgeable take a look at the files?
                      Thanks in advance

The newbios you posted looks ok,the DMI is the same as your backup. You must flash newbios.bin with an SPI programmer .

Thanks so much for checking, ok perfect I thought that by doing this I could flash the file directly with the WinFlash64 program.
I flashed the file with the programmer and it worked.
Thanks for your help and guides!

Hello. I am having a black screen of death with my notebook.
Whenever I try to turn the thing on, it turns a really dim black light on the monitor but nothing shows up & all peripherals dont work. (Keyboard/HDMI Output ect.)
I figured it can definitely be a bad BIOS & I am certain Lenovo did efff my notebook by itself.
& I was right in my presumption. I read through the different posts in here and I found my solution from post #29.
I have backed up my faulty BIOS & applied the posted BIOS and until now everything is working pretty much faultlessly.
Was wandering, if I wanted to insert every other unique features to the laptop, can someone help me on getting all the SN & other unqie stuff?
I have used a cheap CH341A USB Programmer but with the modified version so it read 3.3V (from the Youtube video).
