The link says that software dumps are unreliable. Has anything changed with this? The readers that are listed are quite expensive and I've never used one. Any other options?

i finally fixed my problem i cleaned the me region , now bios is unlocked fan working and you can write your service tag, this only for latitude 5400 with 16mb bios not the 32mb version i hope it helps

It isn`t 25Q80DVSIG ,thats only 1MB. Look at previous posts,you might find something in the attachment file names

How do i do that? I cannot get into the bios at all. It is locked behind the Dell security manager password. Shows a black screen and a place for password. Says something along the line of this system 2zl90x2-001 is locked. yadda yadda
