So i've been attempting to clean the bios myself and found out that the original board for my laptop had a insyde bios. One of my original troubleshooting steps was downloading a bios from here which was in retrospect a mistake since it seems not all probook 650's had insyde. I fixed the hardware issues on the motherboard but it still wouldn't work which is why I ordered a replacement motherboard. I'd like to try to flash the original board with the proper bios but I lost my original dump and need to go with a fresh bios. I'm stuck extracting the bios since it has two .fd files and both files brings back an error in both extractor apps linked in the Insyde guide.

Hello friends.
Can someone help with bios repair. I made a mistake and installed this working motherboard's bios chip on another motherboard that will not power on and when I put the bios chip back the "working" board will not post. Caps lock blinking 3 times and fan spins up to high rpm.
This is a used motherboard I ordered from Ali Express so the serial will not match the board.

You must post the laptop serial number.Have you read the bios guides, there`s an ME cleaning guide and HP bios unlock software.

I'm requesting a bios .bin for 2 of my hp Probook 450 G3's. Both of which I had forgotten the bios passwords. I stupidly flashed both of them with firmware "made" by the RCUnlocker software and I guess I shouldn't have. The last thing I did was flash both of them with RCUnlocker-fw thinking it would 100% work and left my programmer etc behind and won't have access to them for another 2 days so I figured I'd create a thread to see if I'd be so lucky that someone might have a working file laying around 😝

Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.
Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,... -

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....
