    Another SST bios ic that i cannot read with RT809F

    I have RT809F that hate SST bios ics. i write it and it gave me Verification Error.
    ic is SST25VF032B

    i see protection from Status register with 0x1C. i try to change register to unlock but not help. after change status register i can read and erase. but when i write i give verification error and after reading have status register again on 0x1C but chip is erased


    How to flash this damn chips?

      Hi

      I have a very strange issue with the BIOS SPI chip of an ASRock B650M PRO RS motherboard.
      The SPI chip is an Winbond 25Q256JWEQ model (1V8).
      The motherbaord doas not POST - it lits only CPU and DRAM EZ Debug Leds, and stays that way forever.
      The Flashback function of the motherbaord is also not working, despite all instructions followed correctly - I'm 100% sure of this.

      I have then desoldered the chip, backupped the contents, and tried to earease the chip in order to program stock image, but the chip is locked by status registers SREG2 (TB) and SREG6...

      Hello, the LED status indicators on my Lenovo Z580 are not working. Actually the motherboard LEDs are working but the light doesn''t coming to the front view. The plastic part is which you can see in photo must transfer the light to the frontview but just half of the plastic is illuminating.

      There are three status indicators on the front (power, battery, caps lock), and none of them are illuminated.

      The plastic piece doesn't appear to be broken.

      I have RT809F but i don't have PEB1 extension. i wanna buy PEB1 but i'm not sure if it supports IT8227vg in Lenovo K14 gen1.
      i wanna ty to unlock it using RT809F and PEB1.
      maybe someone here tried to do it using RT809F.

      It wont work on ITE_ADAPTER_V1.5 board (IT8580, IT8586, IT8587 work when soldered on board)

      Please help.
