only flash this main do not touch the EC.
First boot press f10 reset bios to factory defaults and exit, 2nd boot reset security settings to defaults and exit.
Use BCU to fill these DMI info. you can permanently disable absolute in BCU.

Hi, I have a Elitebook 840 G7 laptop. It had a admin password until got rid of it using a bin file in one of the postings.

However, on every boot, I am getting "There is a problem with the HP Endpoint Security Controller". Can you help me remove this message from popping up?

                      ProdID 2Z4G6UC#ABA

I am also attaching both bin files.

Ok, I am attaching original bin files. So, this one has the admin password in it. If you could just remove the password, this should fix my other issue as well.

After reflashing the bin files, caps lock is blinking 7 times.

Yes, these files worked for me. The password was gone and I had to use BCU to get out of the manufacturing mode by filling out empty fields. Otherwise, computer is good to go. Thank you.
