    HP 17-ab301na BIOS MPM unlock request

    Hi everyone,

    I've got the above model laptop for repair. There was some water damage on the board and I cleaned it up. Machine now boots but I get error on boot that the SN, UUID, model etc are all blank.
    I've tried writing them with wndmifit from nbdmifit 2.14 which is the version that recognizes the laptop, but I can't write as the laptop is MPM locked.

    I've attached a bios dump taken with my programmer

    What's the best way to unlock MPM or at least write the missing details? I couldn't manage to find a guide and I'm still a bit of a novice when it comes to bios mods. Thanks

                      With original bios no POST, only LED lights
                      With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                      Some issues
                      A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
                      B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                      Things I tried

                      Hello,

                      I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
                      So I thought it was a Bios problem.
                      I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....

                      Hello,
                      I need help unlocking the BIOS of a Toshiba Tecra X40-E-19, Serial Number: 2K199216H.
                      The BIOS is locked (possibly password protected), and I have already dumped both the original BIOS and EC chips using an RT809H programmer.

                      Hi all i bought XMG ULTRA 17 (E19) (ID: XUL17E19) I9 9900K RTX 2070 used and I wanted to unlock the bios to have access to all features and maybe even support 128gb of ddr4 ram with custom logo bios if that was possible, currently i bought a CH341A programmer, i think by next week weather permitting I will dump the stock bios.
                      i don't want to use the DSanke bios.
                      I will enter all the necessary data shortly, because I am currently not at home.
                      PS: I saw that in the repository there is a bios for my clevo P775TM1-G but i don't know if it is unlocked to have full access to all features....
