remove everything from it (wifi, hdd, keyboard, etc.) and turn it on, see what happens..
Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:

Try some older bios versions. That might be the only way to get past the "preparing automatic recovery" message

I apologize again, I have not yet managed to restore the bios! A question if an incorrect bin file was flashed with the eprom programmer, in the bios features screen are the exact original information of the notebook reported or are these modified by the incorrect flashing. Thanks

The neverending story......notebook 15-dw0008nl SN CND9233KY5 Product Number 6HV87EA#ABZ I attach the original .bin file, it was not the one I had already shared. I reprogrammed the chip with CH 341A but nothing. I installed the various .bin 085EF files taken from the HP site specific for the notebook, but nothing. I ask if you can analyze the attached .bin file to see if there is something wrong, the notebook starts, access the bios but stuck on the HP screen with the writing preparing automatic recovery and remains like that for hours. Do not start the pen drive with the operating system. Thanks

Hey there! Would love some assistance with figuring this one out. The laptop would originally boot to BIOS, however anytime you tried to boot to USB/HDD or anything it would crash almost immediately after booting to any device and I know they were fine because they boot on all my other devices just fine.

I initially tried an ME clean however I would get the message "File does not contain Intel ME firmware" and now the laptop is turning on then off currently.

              S/N: CND2043XVL

              Original BIOS dump attached.

This is what I thought might be the case. This dump was the 3rd read - all 3 the same. I guess I'll need to grab a BIOS and add the DMI information.

The file you posted cannot identify the BID and DMI.

Was about to ask about that as I found the thread to find the information of which BIOS to grab from the HP website but there is 7 different ones and of course, cannot use BID to find which one from that dump. Is there any other way to telling which I would need or is it going to be a case of flashing each one until it works?

The old bid has the letter F, so you only need to prepare four 16MB bios chips. 085EF , 085F1 , 0899F , 085F3 .

Thanks for the help. I got it booted but back again to crashing whenever I try to boot to any USB or SSD and this is with the BIOS from the HP website so something else is going on. Will work on this one but at this point don't think its BIOS or Intel ME related.
