    Toshiba l50-b-2cr

    Hello my friends.
I was playing a little bit with bios on this laptop, but before everything i have created a backup from bios that was working.
But after trying to flash some bios bin files, none of which worked,i tried to flash original and then laptop was not powering up.
I think I damaged the bios on this laptop, while reading the bios flash.
Motheboard in this laptop is : dablidmb8e0 rev:e
I tried few bios bin files from this site with this motheboard and nothing was working.
Except one i found on remont-aud net,it turns on but with some horizontal lines.I'll attach one picture.
I know it's damaged because when it loads in "Intel Easy clean me" it says "Invalid input file original bios backup.BIN"
Thank you,and sorry for long post !

Yes,i know it is PSKTCE.But when I've already tried every bios PSKTCE i can found, then I tried everything, the only condition was to have the same board model.

Your original bios is too corrupt, did you backup using a clip or desolder it.If you`re using a CH341A try some alternative software, and buy a new bios chip, one thats in the supported list.

          Flash chips in VSCC table:
          1F4700 (Atmel AT25DF321)
          EF4017 (Winbond W25Q64)
          1C7017 (EON EN25QH64)
          C84017 (GigaDevice GD25x64)
          374017 (Unknown)

            Re: Toshiba l50-b-2cr

I made a mistake,i desolder it and then used a clip,i will post a picture how i did it.I have rt809h programmator, and this is not my first laptop on which I programmed the bios.I sucessfuly unlocked lenovo t440 and yoga 3.
On lenovo laptop you must have original bios bin file, but on these laptop hp,dell, toshiba it can work when you download from internet.
I don't understand why on this laptop is black screen.
I found winbond W25Q64BV,and I write your file in it "PSKTCE ME_CLEAN".
Laptop turns on but black screen.
It is not at all clear to me why this is happening.
Please answer to me,thank you !

              I managed to fix it.
              The problem was in flash.
I write bios bin file from this link on winbond W25Q64: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...dmb8e0+rev%3Ae

Help Disabling Flash Protection Range Registers on Lenovo P360 Tiny BIOS
                by abhorsen
                Hey guys,

Hope you all are doing well. I come here from Win-Raid because I am having issues disabling Flash Protection Range Registers so I can flash my BIOS from within Windows using Intel's IFW tool/using flashrom within Linux, however I cannot due to the above mentioned error.

Here is my thread on Win-Raid detailing the whole process I went through: https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/re...h-gen/95478/27

Essentially I managed to boot into Windows while shorting PINs 1+5 of my audio chip to disable the HAP bit...

Request BIOS files to flash Toshiba C55-A-1TX laptop
                by YvD-Electronics
                Hi all,

I need the BIOS (bin files) to re-flash the BIOS chips on a toshiba laptop.

Why I am pretty sure I need this to repair?

                1) Power supplies seem OK.

                2) Battery has been replaced, is charging well ... also not the CMOS battery CR2032, also not OK without RAM, or 1 or the 2 RAM modules (RAMS are OK).

                3) Laptop does really rare (seems random things) with the 3 leds (power, net, ...)

                4) In the past, when trying to restart 100 times via power button, it was sometimes succeeding, now no more.
                ...

Dell Optiplex 7010 micro bad BIOS flash?
                by mrrubik
                Hi folks,

I got a Dell Optiplex 7010 micro PC (Exact Model) with 8FC8 BIOS and locked out admin password. I attempted to remove the password by patching the BIOS via info from this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ssword-patcher
After flashing the patched the BIOS, the PC is unresponsive with a solid AMBER power LED (not documented in manual anywhere)

                Steps I took:
                1. Read BIOS with CH341a, verified hash twice
                2. Patched
                ...

Is it okay to flash stock bios onto the motherboard's BIOS?
                by AkaBukai
                Hi there,
                I have a 14" Lenovo Laptop (Flex 5 14ALC05) which has a boot issue.
The little LED on the power button is flashing slowly and nothing happen.
This unit do not have any BIOS button cell battery so I tried many times draining the power but it is still not powering on.

So I decided to flash the BIOS using a cheap programmer.
And I was successfully able to read the content (exactly 16MB file) which BTW is a WINBOND 74m12jwsiq (according to the package inscription - but detected as W25Q128FW in the software - IMSProg on Linux)

                I also...
