Read through the thread and you can do it yourself.Posts #29,30,31,32 for a clue .Use a hex editors file-compare function to see the difference between a locked and unlocked bios version posted in this thread

I've already tried to do that.
I changed single bits from 3f to 3c.
There is still a password.
I can't take it.
Can someone help

The file is working.
No password
But there is a problem.

A red bar with a padlock at the top of the screen.

Model, System UUID, Serial Number, Asset Tag is not stored in UEFI.

Do you have any idea for that?

I have a Surface Pro 4 that has UEFI Bios password. I am confused reading the posts. Can I get a dump of the bios via FPT or do I need to desolder the chip to get a dump file?

Today i have more test to the Surface, and i noticed a couple issues.
First when I'm in the Uefi configuration, the touch doesn't work.
Secondly, in Windows the touch isn't quite responsive, and the right half of the screen doesn't work at all.
I don't know is bios issue or touch issue.
Let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Removing the password is not related to the problem. In this model, when the BIOS is not the original you will have problems mainly with the touch.

the bios is the original one . I make a dump from the original bios chip.
I guess my screen its have some problems.

I've changed the screen, and the touch if normal now.
It was a defective touch.
