Hi There,
I'm reading in this forum since a long time - it's an impressive source for solutions
Today I decided to test the autopatcher. What should I say? Works like a charm.
Thank you Knucklegrumble!
Tested with a Thinkpad L560 and CH341 programmer (delivered as full 3.3V version - no need to modify) running Neoprogrammer V2.20. The programm reportet the device as CH341 black.
Tried to read eeprom in circuit with WSON clip and testclip. With 8 cycles I have 4 with identical CRC32. After also removing the BIOS battery (main battery was already off), CRC32 was identical 3 times. First flash of autopatched file went wrong. Decided to desolder chip. The problem seems to be the contact with the testclips (tried two). The file from the 3 times cycles with identical CRC32 contained the correct bios bin - lucky me
Flashed patched file external, soldered and followed instructions.
Desoldering, flashing original bin and the password was gone
Kind Regards & Thank you!!
