I flashed all of them one by one but unfortunately none of them are working.

Symptoms: Turning on for a second, little fan spin, then turns off with all, except this: 20250930_005915_FLASH_25128PP_PATCHED.bin

With this one it tries to boot, restarts a few times, like it supposed to, but then the fans are speeding up and nothing happens, no picture, no reboots. It did the same with the bins that I patched with the old and new autopatcher. I don't have speaker connected so i don't know about beep codes.

With my original attached bin there's a normal boot, just with SVP.
    Try and raport!

Can you help me patch this machine somehow? I'm attaching my original, working bios bin. This model has a Winbond 25Q128FV BIOS chip. I tried to flash similar BIOS bins from this topic, but none of them gave a picture.

          Hello all,

Posted before but looking back I see probably in the wrong thread.

I have been battling for a while trying to fix this bios but for some reason I am failing at the patching stage. Been trying the autopatcher but while it creates a patched file it just hangs with no results shown.

          The laptop details are:

          Lenovo Thinkpad L380
          I5 Generation 8
          Model : 20M6S1VV00
          Serial number: W1KS89C10HD

I would like this laptop to have a few more years of being useful but have almost given up on it.

          Many thanks for any help.

Unfortunately, the same as with the others. No picture. It starts, small fan spin. It repeats a few times, then high fan speed and nothing else. There's no BIOS battery plugged in.

Why is it so hard to patch this model?

If I flash back my original bin, it works perfectly, but I can't boot because of the SVP.

Guys, listen up, I have an issue. I'm trying to use patcher 0.2 on a Lenovo E959 20NF. I have 2 of them, and of course, they have a BIOS password. When I dump the BIOS and use the patcher, after flashing the patched BIOS, the laptop doesn't boot. I thought I was loading something incorrectly, but when I flash the original image back, the computer starts up fine. This model (E959 20NF) is listed as supported. Could someone shed some light on my problem? I would be eternally grateful.

It's actually quite simple: you have an AMD CPU laptop, and the auto-patcher was written for an Intel CPU.
A hash value in your patched file needs to be changed. I've already done that here, but you should follow the rules and post the serial number.
Then I can give you the new patch file.

                                        I'm providing the system-unit serial number PF1Q99TA
Did you use Lenovo autopatcher 0.2 for patching?
Is there any chance you could instruct me on which value needs to be changed?

                                            Hello everyone,

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:
                                            🧩 Initial Issue
                                            • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
                                            • External display (HDMI) shows
                                            ...

                                            by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
                                            Some issues
                                            A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

                                            Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...

Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...

                                            Hello,

I have a Lenovo Thinkbook 15 G2 ITL i5 Laptop (serial number: MP2BFZEF) that when I turn it on, the led on the power button lights up for 5 seconds, then goes out. There's no display and nothing happens.
So I thought it was a Bios problem.
I found 3 bios chips on the board, which I read with a bios programmer: two XMC model bios chips and a Winbond model bios chip. Each XMC model bios chip has two partitions named XM25QH128A [3.3V] and XT25F128A [3.3V]. And the Winbond model bios chip has three partitions named W25Q80BL 3.3V, W25Q80xV 3.3V and W25Q80DV 3.3V....
