Hi,
I have a latitude, 7400
I lost the password, and I need to unlock bios
I tried some procedures that I found on the internet, but does not work.

My service tags is : FLTPZY2-8FC8

Could you help me please?

TRY.
1st boot, press F2, write service tag, disable Absolute, save (Apply changes), restart. 2nd boot press Alt+F to exit manufacturing mode

sorry i can not find the 32mb chip on the motherboard. My motherboard code is EDC40 LA-G871P rev 1.0
This is the 8mb chip - UC5, file above is 16mb - UC6

You must use a programmer to read the bios chip. No other easy/lazy way.

Can I upload the BIOS only through the programmer? Or can I do it through Windows?
