It`s not the EC. Would it be UT6 ,the PD firmware ? https://dl.dell.com/manuals/all-prod...uide_en-us.pdf

Worked perfectly! Thank you LBTT1121, you rock! Could you explain quickly how it's done, I noticed you changed some areas of the bios with just a few characters ? Thanks again!

    thanks in advance
post motherboard model, post the original contents of the bios chip..etc.

The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..

you need an SPI programmer...here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...l=ThisIsHow

Dell Latitude 5400 Chromebook UEFI bios
    by jhanra
Hi there masters, recently i got a dell 5400 chromebook and wanted to install windows, i searched the internet and i found out other people also wanting a UEFI bios for this model, i searched there is a R/W legacy, but there are bugs like keyboard/trackpad not working, and hard to install.

so i decided to try to port one, this bios is based on dell 5400 windows version, i am testing this bios for a week now an found only a little to no bug at all in windows 10, or only a minor issue
in windows 11 sound driver compatibility, but overall its ok, for me i can deal with it, πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…...

    Dell Latitude 5430 Bios Password
    by anlsmith
I am trying to remove the BIOS password for a Dell Latitude 5430 motherboard LA-L591P. So far I think that I have located the BIOS chip but NeoProgrammer says that is detects 3 chips. I have attached the dump from each one. Are any of these the BIOS file? Service Tag: 1DMC1T3. If nyone knows the exact location of the bios chip as well I would greatly appreciate it...
