Can anyone confirm bios location please, I have 2 Winbond ic chips
and another one the same shape and size with MX written on it.

W25Q64FVIQ I thought this one was the bios.
W25Q8ODVIO I am not sure about this one, its not on google.

Just edited this post, the second chip was spelt wrong its a W25Q80DVIO
just found it on google, is this the one I need to update?

I have took the other ic chip off and read it none
of then are 16mb, there's one more chip with mx on it
not sure if I can read it or not.

I have taken the 3rd chip of its a MX25L12573F it looks like the last letters
are ZNI but its very hard to see, I do get chip detection on the programmer
software but the MX25L125 is not in the list, I have tried AsProgrammer NeoProgrammer and CH341A_1.30

I get the MX25L128 come up in the chip list but not the one I need to read it.

Anyone know if this would be bios, and how to read this chip?

I'ts worked bios dump (No password, Clean ME region 11.0.18.3003, COR LP, SPT/KBP-LP C Power Down Mitigation - YES), who need

MB MERITAGE-6050A2748801-MB-A01

This dump works, but device is unstable and sensors are disabled (auto screen rotation doesn't work)

Thank you. I'm afraid that my BIOS-dump is corrupted though.. I was way to tired last night and just now figured out that my 4 different dumps has differences.. Nothing happens when I try to turn on the tablet.

Is there anything I can do?

EDIT: After many attempts, I finally got the BIOS from #12 to write successfully! Computer up and running!

The computer was left in power saving mode for the weekend and now the battery seems to be completely dead. When plugged in it does not say "charging", only "plugged in" and the battery stays at 0%.. This battery is only about 4 months old because I hade exactly the same problem with the old one and this time I thought it might have something to do with the old BIOS that I could not update. But this updated BIOS seems not to have sorted out this issue.

W25Q80 is not the right one, for HP Elite x2 1012 G1 you must dump 16MB chip.
