Hi Guys,
I have a LA-G07EP REV 2.0 which i am trying to get going.
The board came to me from a from a few repair places and the bios chip was not on the board a few capacitors removed.
I had a rev1 donor board which i could get missing parts and the bios chip from.
The board powers up with the 5.3 caps lock , which according to hp website means "The embedded controller times out waiting for the BIOS."
I have tried a few bios version posted here and on vinafix with not much luck.
I havent been able to flash the ec chip because my rt80h came with missing keyboard connector and flex cables, its going to be another month until those arrive.
I have 4 more bios version to try from #13 , since i dont the original bios i cant upload a backup to verify the build number which would makes things a little easier.
I guess my question is this
Has anyone managed to get a laptop working with a 5.3 issues by flashing bios and ec ?
What are the chances that it is actually a cpu problem ? i suspect this because when you leave the laptop on for a few minutes blinking, the cpu gets warm but the fan never starts up to cool it down, the fan works fine because it starts up when you power up the laptop and stops after a few seconds.
I am considering moving the KB9022 chip from my rev donor board to this board but not sure if that will change anything.
Any ideas ?

Hello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details- Barebone / Chassis: TongFang GK7MRFR

Hello everyone,
I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.
When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.
I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder... -

I'm looking for a BIOS modder or anyone with experience who would give me suggestions about my razer blade's BIOS settings.
I can view and edit the content of the BIOS .bin file with AMIBCP BIOS editor.
The BIOS files I'm working with are from badcaps.net and those are CLEAN BIOS files (anyone can find it with the search string: RZ09-0421).
