    For anybody that comes across this problem in the future. I managed to make the USB-C work by:
    1. Making a backup of the original PD flash (non working)
    2. Flashing a new code to the PD flash from a different machine (the USB-C was totaly not working at this point, cause the code wasn't compatible)
    3. Updating the main bios (which gave me error during PD flash update)
    4. Flashing back the original backup, which suddenly now worked

    I have the same issue and trying to solve it. As I got from the forum the cleaning the me region will not solve the issue, and I have to replace the chip itself.
    Did you just replaced it and it showed up in the BIOS? Or there are any other procedures like bios flash with clean me region or TPM chip firmware update?
