Hi SMDFlea, of all the bioses posted on here, this one was the only one that let the machine actually boot. All others do the fan running on high thing with black screen. The problem is I can't program it as windmifit can't recognise the machine name. I have posted my original (corrupted) bios here - is there any way you can help? Many thanks!Comment

Thanks so much - I just noticed that with the ME Clean version, there is an option in the bios "set machine unique data", so I managed to program it that way. Just want to say that people like yourself are totally legendary - always willing to help out people just because you have the will to do so. I get that and try to do the same in the areas where I have specialist knowledge. In short - THANK YOU, and when I'm next in York, I will definitely get you a beer

Hi all,
My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)

I am trying to recover an ECS Z77-H2 motherboard, I dumped the original bios with a ch341a programmer, the bios from the manufacturer is a .cap file of smaller size, and it seems that I need to merge this file with other information from the dump, anyone can explain how to do that? -

I'm looking for a BIOS file for an Asus N550JK.
I have a Asus R552J, which I believe is identical to the Asus N550JK.
I downloaded the latest BIOS (210) for the R552.
It is named N550JKAS.210.
The BIOS file is however only 6mb in size.
I've read the chip with a CH341A programmer and verified the file.
That file is actually 8mb in size.
I'm wanting to remove the BIOS password from this unit.
It prompts you to input the password when turned on, so its sort of behaving like a power on password rather than... -

I need help with my Acer Aspire 5920G laptop. Its original GeForce 8600M GT graphics card failed, so I replaced it with an Nvidia GeForce 9600M GT MXM card.
**Problem:** The laptop powers on, but there is no display (black screen) on either the internal LCD or external monitor. This indicates a BIOS compatibility issue with the new graphics card.
