Mabe you have smc problems, the bios is tested by me many times. you can look for water damadge on motherboard or try to reheat smc

If it powers up and stays on as stated in your original post, the bios is not what you need to be concerned with it's not the issue. It could be anything . Whats the history here? Liquid damage? Dropped? etc.

I just bought this from a guy online who is leaving out of the country, bought it with out hardrive, battery and memory. I checked the board looks clean too no sign of water damage. Can you guys give me test point where i need to check for proper voltage, resistance, etc.

Edit: I tried booting on refit efi menu selecting terminal playing some cmds & just leaving it in there and its like nothing is wrong going on. Its stays powered on for long time.

Is it still considered as SMC issue? or Bios issue? Do i really need to clean ME Region? as this one i havent done yet. Only serial and hash i change on the file i downloaded.

Update: I tried removing keyboard flex ribbon and press the power button VOILA! it works! I am posting this update using this same Macbook Pro, with USB keyboard.

Every time i turn it on i have to use SMC Bypass method. (With the magsafe disconnected press and hold the power button. While continuing to hold the power button plug in the magsafe connector. Continue to hold down the power button for 5 to 10 seconds. Release the power button and wait a couple of seconds. Now press and release power button.)

Confirmed i have SMC Issue with keyboard flex attached. Any hardware guru would like to help?

I’m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, I’m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Here’s a full breakdown:

                                      Hello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details

                                      Hello everyone,

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...

                                      Dear Forum Readers!

I'm looking for a BIOS modder or anyone with experience who would give me suggestions about my razer blade's BIOS settings.
I can view and edit the content of the BIOS .bin file with AMIBCP BIOS editor.
The BIOS files I'm working with are from badcaps.net and those are CLEAN BIOS files (anyone can find it with the search string: RZ09-0421).
