    Sony Vaio BIOS Update needed

    Hey guys, i come from germany. Sorry for my bad english

    I need the bios update for my laptop. It is a Sony Vaio Model: SVF152A29M, product name: SVF1521P4E. Motherboard: DA0HK9MB6D0 REV: D I hope someone can help.

      Post your bios backup .

      EDIT: i read your other post, so do you have windows up and running .

              Maybe . As you can boot into windows you can try the bios update from sony support. There are 2 different bios. If the bios update doesn`t make any difference you can make a bios backup with a bios programmer and post it . Slow running could be the hard drive,try with a linux live cd/dvd ,remove the hard drive first.

              64 bit windows 8.1 bios

                  now he does not drive up no matter what I do. I've already tried everything possible. but when I swapped the ram, it was only 2 seconds and then immediately out again. does that mean something?

                      Did you flash the bios , did you remove the hard drive and try a linux live cd ?

                          the bios can not flash because I can not access windows. give it a chance to flash the bios ?

                              Hi, I hope some one has some advice for me. I searched the forums but didn't see anything relevant. I acquired two identical Dell 9010 Mid Tower computers from a business office upgrade (they were going to throw them out). Both of them have the same motherboard (00F82W). One of them works flawlessly. The other one had a corrupted BIOS. I tried flashing numerous main BIOS and EC files from the internet, but none of them worked.                               Went dumpster-diving and found a bricked Lenovo P14S in trash, few weeks earlier. Symptoms - no screen, no POST, no beep, just keyboard LEDs flashing on powerup. Mute button+LED was responding though, and the display self-test was still working (via the key combo Ctrl+Fn+Power held for some seconds, see the Service manual).

                              Incidentally, Windows 11 have recently started auto-flashing computer BIOS in our region. Even more suspiciously, Lenovo has released a BIOS update just few days before the PC was trashed. About a week later, the BIOS update image has been oficially marked...
