i have this 2014 A1466 MacBook air which has corrupted EFI.
i've dumped the ROM checked the BIOS version at 106, dated 02/2018
i've located a few dumps on the internet, but they're all 2014-2016, and they make the mac behave strangely.
i've purchased cleanME dumps, i've cleaned internet dumps.. the only thing I can imagine is that something has changed in the EFI with the High Sierra update, and the previous BIOS are not compatible with new SMC or something else?
comparing the "known good" v99 against the "corrupt" v106 from the laptop, they are structured quite differently.
i purchased the ROM by logic board number 820-3437B
does anybody have any experience with pre/post high sierra firmwares? or at the very least, can somebody shoot me a dump of an A1466 EMC2632 with the high sierra firmware update?
