Re solder the chip carefully , take care if there's resistance near chip

Soldering back the chip can be hard sometimes. In fact got some trouble at the beginning to solder it correctly as there were too many tin on the central attachment of the chip on the motherboard. So first remove as much tin as you can from the center, and add more tin to the leads place, then with hot air, solder it back and it should work.

Hp 840 g4 bios repair please

Hi friends. Can someone help me repair corupted bios on Hp elitebook 840 g4. With original bios laptop turn on, but without image on screen, and turn off after about 5 sec.
When I write other bios from forum, laptop turn on, and image comes with delay of 30 seconds.
If someone know how to fix that please help.
I will atach my original old bios.

How many times do the caps blink.Clean the gold RAM pins with an eraser.

Thanks for answer. 8 times blink, When i put bios from forum i got the image on screen, but after delay about 30 sec..

Yes that's the point, with ch341a, you should read & save your locked firmware, post it here, and the community will repost a firmware without password. Download it and reprogram it. Then solder it back (so yeah you will need to remove the chip from motherboard before).
