Re: Remove_SMM... UEFI.
Hi sorry, no one replied. Am i right on this?
I will need to read my original bios dump. Then replace body for boot option and lenovotranslateservice using UEFItool, and then save a new image. After which I will reflash bios and I should be able to remove my bios lock right?

I flashed that same file on my x240 and worked with the following sympthoms:
First boot:
Boots on power connect.
2x 5 beeps as expected
Delay some seconds until logo appears and then hangs up there. No keyboard response.
I waited 30 seconds and powered it off by holding the power button 4 seconds.
Second boot:
I simply let it go and it boot up and automatically reboot. After that reboot it passed the logo screen and I could enter the bios password using code 1234.
Two space bars.
"TPM certificate changed, turn off."
And that was it, flashed back the original bios and now the supervisor password is gone.
Again, thank you very much.Last edited by pacosaco; 06-23-2020, 10:44 AM.
