    Thanks

Hi! Flashed the BIOS, the laptop is back to life!

        Thanks for that!

        I have one more question:
I have got a HP dv6-2135eg laying around here, blackscreen, fans running, LEDs on.
Already tried to reflow the GPU, it did not work. Well, the laptop was booting sometimes, but now it is having the caps lock blinking 2x, which, according to HP support, means that the BIOS is corrupted.

The problem is that the BIOS chip is a cFeon F16-100HIP, which is not listed in the CH341A programmer. How can I flash that, or is it even possible to flash it?

Re: Dell Latitude E6230 dump bios needed

                Hello,

I have an Dell Latitude E6230...i got everything workings ( all leds are flashing) but black screen. I want to reprogram bios with spi programmer, but i have an issue identifying the bios chip. I understand that there are 2 chips, right? ( as i read in this article ). My question is...if there are 2 bios files provided here, each file goes to with chip? or the 2 bios files needs to be flashed to only one cip, and if yes, wich cip from the 2 cips on the motherboard?

Hopefully i got myself explained correctly...

thanks in advance for any of your replies

If your motherboard have 2 bios chips like (32Mbit/4MB & 64Mbit/8MB), use a programmer to read the 2 chips then upload the 2 file here.
Someone will try to fix your files, gives you the 2 files and you should program your 2 chips with the new files.
