HP EliteBook 840 G3 BIOS
Hi. I got a EliteBook 840 G3, which is password locked. I want to remove the BIOS password. The problem is, that this laptop is having a chip which can't be plugged onto a SOIC test clip, what makes the process more difficult. Is there any other way to remove the BIOS password without desoldering the BIOS chip from the board?
Thanks.

HP DV6-2135eg BIOS
Hi. This laptop I have does not boot. The caps lock blinks 2 times, which, according to HP, tells that the BIOS is corrupt. Does any1 have a dump for flashing this guy here?
Mainboard: DA0UTMB6E1 AMD
Dv6-2135eg
BIOS chip: cFeon F16-100HIP 16MBit chip
Thanks

Re: Dell Latitude E6230 dump bios needed
Hi! Flashed the BIOS, the laptop is back to life!
Thanks for that!
I have one more question:
I have got a HP dv6-2135eg laying around here, blackscreen, fans running, LEDs on.
Already tried to reflow the GPU, it did not work. Well, the laptop was booting sometimes, but now it is having the caps lock blinking 2x, which, according to HP support, means that the BIOS is corrupted.
The problem is that the BIOS chip is a cFeon F16-100HIP, which is not listed in the CH341A...

Re: Dell Latitude E6230 dump bios needed
Well, I already flashed the laptop with the BIOS provided here. So right now it has the BIOS from this thread. Would it be still necessary to backup the current BIOS?
Thanks ...

Oh, you mean the .bin file we get when we press "Read" on the CH341A software?...

Re: Dell E6230 i5 not booting.
I ordered new batteries. The problem is that the laptop was not booting at all till I flashed the BIOS with a CH341A programmer. It worked then, but reinserting the CMOS cell made it not booting again. I want the A20 BIOS, as I think the older A12 BIOS (which is right now installed on the BIOS chip) has a lot of bugs.
Thanks.

Dell E6230 A20 BIOS dump needed!
Hi! As the title explains, a Dell E6230 I have at home is not booting. I wanted to fix it, as it's holiday right now and I don't have something to do in this time.
The problem is:
This laptop won't boot unless I remove the CMOS battery and wait for 5 minutes. Then, it boots up normally with a warning ("Date and Time not set, that's normal.."). As soon as it's starting, it works normally without any problems. I flashed the BIOS using a dump here on Badcaps, as the BIOS was corrupt, too. When I try to update the BIOS from Windows/DOS, it prepares the update,...
