You can read how to clean ME region over here: https://ghostlyhaks.com/blog/apple-e...lean-me-region
Inside of that article You will find a link (this one: https://winraid.level1techs.com/t/gu...lization/31277 ) where all clean ME regions are stored.
"ME analyzer" program, for example, will help You to identify which version of clean ME region you have to use.
Hope it will help You.

Re: 100% working MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2016, 4 TBT3) BIOS dump
for example few weeks ago I had MacBook Air motherboard which had a dead EEPROM. And if the EEPROM is dead, you are unable to read old BIOS and write to new one. This is the reason why we need these dumps and what's why we share it.

by samstownHello,
This special tool from Apple is used to recover data from Macbook A1706. I've been using it for a while but it stops working. When connecting Thunderbolt 3 between the tool and working Macbook, Macbook should prompt "new device detected, allow or not"... but it doesn't.
Has anyone ever experience this ? It's not a cabling or power supply issue, some IC have stopped working but not sure which one. Probably the one that manager thunderbolt 3
Thanks

by envymHi everyone!
I have a 2018 MacBook Pro (with Sequoia OS) that I've been using for years with no problem. I recently received an M2 MacBook Pro so I'm mostly using it and not the 2018 one, but since a friend of mine needs a computer, I thought I could restore my 2018 and give it brand-new-like to my friend.
I tried using the built-in tool to restore the MacBook (Settings > General > Transfer or restore > Delete) but it got stuck when trying to remove the Find Device configuration (it asked me for the password for my old Apple ID -now I use the same account but...06-27-2025, 08:54 AM -

by rilleyHello everyone,
I am new into this, sorry to post it here. I want to make this as a pet hobby project, as this mac is not urgent.
I have (Macbook Pro 13inch 2017mid) A1706 820-00923-A
My mac had liquid damage a long time ago, the connector from J8500 is damaged on pin 46 (PP5V_S0_ALSCAM_F), I guess the LCD/display panel is in short circuit, as I saw the connector from the LCD burned as well.
And the resistor L4004 is literally burned.
From what I see from the schematics, it does not affect any other rails, only the connection to the display... -
by zaler808Hi guys, this my first post but i want to be brief about it, i recently got a MBP L2013, the problem was that after some use the macbook shutted down randomly, at first i suspected to be the battery, and after connecting it with the charger i noticed that i didn“t shut, but after an hour or so it shutdown, after that i started searching a solution to my problem, but my brother tried to help me to find the problem and it that process to replicate the problem he reproduced a 4k video in multiple tabs and not much time after the macbook shutdown to never power again, what i noticed was that the...05-23-2024, 05:17 PM
