Re: In search of Galaxy Note 5 Verizon SM-N920V Schematic
I've seen his channel before, he's very experienced... especially on Samsung boards. The only trouble I'm having is finding the values of caps and resistors next to the power button prongs on board. The schematic provided shows where the lines connect but don't show values for individual components. Unfortunately I don't have a donor Note 5 board to source the components from! :/

Re: In search of Galaxy Note 5 Verizon SM-N920V Schematic
Thank you for the reply! I used your link but the website is in all Spanish and I believe asks me for login details when I click the link for the N920V!? Any help to navigate through the website to find the schematic would be appreciated!

Re: Samsung Galaxy S6
yes the right pad is connected to ground, I'm pretty sure that component needs to be replaced....

Re: Samsung Galaxy S6
Check if the "JS" component is shorted to ground or not, then maybe you can do without replacing it. If it seems good then yes I would try jumping it from the burnt side of the component if theres any leg to solder onto.. lol. And to be honest I'm more familiar with iPhones than Samsungs so I wish I knew what that components function was, and if jumping its connections would be the right repair or not. There's actually 5 different versions of the S6 board in my ZXW file and I've just realized it for the first time...yikes! Yours seems to be version...Last edited by Ty33; 03-19-2017, 09:26 PM.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S6
With a quick look on my ZXW tool, that burnt solder pad that is under the black component labeled "JS" connects to that white cap to the upper left. You can see by the tracks on the board that they are connected, and it seems to be line "V_BATTERY" . I think if you clean up and scrape away the burnt part and try to create a joint, you can jump it with a short wire to that pad and you should be good. By the way the black component labeled "JS" comes up as part no. C7148...so I'm not sure if it's a cap or diode. Let me know how it...

iPhone 6S/6S+ Schematics
Anyone got pdf schematics for the iPhone 6S/6S +? Trying to pin down some backlight problems. Also if anyone has a pdf file for the iPhone 7/7+ that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: iPhone SE & 6 schematic, boardview, or searchable pdf
I'm not sure if you've already discovered ZXW tool or not, but its worth researching and eventually buying the dongle. The software has boardview for all iPhone models and a whole lot of other smartphone models....

Re: in search of iphone 5c pdf schematics
I'm reviving this thread to ask the same question again. I have an iPhone 5C here with the board number 820-3928-A. There seems to be a difference in the placement of components compared to the iPhone 5C provided on the ZXW tool schematics, and the pdf document shared in this thread (820-3581) . I'm not sure if it's a "short" or not, but as soon as I plug in a battery the logic board gets really hot around the PMIC area. I believe there's a faulty component on the PP_BATT_VCC line but I cant figure it out because the schematics...
