Install Ubuntu Linux...
Set UEFI in BIOS...
BIOS is gone...
No access BIOS. I try any keyboard combination.
No Operating system starting.
BIOS reset is not working.
My motherboard bricked...
I need to reflash BIOS.Comment

The laptop is not booting.
I can't reach BIOS, I can't start Operating system.
Start with this picture:
Nothing selectable in Boot Menu,
Nothing selectable in App Menu
The BIOS is unreachable with any key combination.Comment

The machine was started with a HirenBoot DVD Windows.
I want to flash BIOS with Samsung Updater, but it say: No new BIOS...
I try with WinPhlash.
Error...
I am backuped BIOS.
It is only 3MB...
It is true?
What I find in bios is 8MB!
The winphlash can not flashing.
Corrupted interface descriptors in the new BIOS file
Part Table Signature not found in the interface

Every samsung bios has a platform ID ,if you open your bios with a hex editor you can find out what yours is by looking for a few key words, SECFID,SEC,SECWUP or $Revision https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=88206
Use the forum search to look for an 06QA bios (or 07QA,08QA,09QA) with clean ME firmware,if you can`t find one look though all the NP300E5E threads,download each bios and open with a hex editor and search for QA.If you can`t find anything then you should try cleaning the ME region of your bios,if that doesn`t work then download and extract the QA bios update,extract it and merge it with your bios using a hex editor or version 0.27 of UEFITool.The serial number and other DMI will be missing after flashing,if you want to add the serial number (DMI) from your backup use a hex editor,the offset is 381000 (length 4000) or use UEFITool and extract the EVSA area at 381000h,and copy it into the newly merged bios region.

Thank you so much for your instruction, but i face a problem after do all steps the computer working will every think ok but when i shutdown the computer the screen become black the power button still light, the computer freezing, i can't do force shutdown until i remove battery and charger after that reset BIOS by press power button 20 second then the computer return workingLast edited by SMDFlea; 06-01-2022, 03:19 AM.Comment

Hello everyone,
i made out of two broken Samsung Galaxy Tabpro S one that works partially.
The one Mainboard had a broken screen output but working hdmi (usb c adapter) output and the other didnt start at all.
I switch the bios chips and now the tablet starts but very very slow and it takes some trys to get it starting.
The problem is, that the micom Version doesn't match with the bios version, see picture.
How can i update the Micom Version? The Samsung bios update wont work.
With https://github.com/tavinus/SamsungBIOSTools i could extract the newest bios update... -
Hello everybody!
To put you in context I recently replaced the battery from my HP Pavilion 15 bc400ns with a used one, everything was going good. The same day, I decided to update the BIOS, everything went good. The thing occurred after I let the battery drain iddling on Windows 11 for the second time to calibrate it that the screen did not turn on again, the computer was on but the screen did not turn, like it would not wake from hibernation. I decided to restart the computer but got no video.
The thing is that I had installed TeamViewer and could log into the computer... -
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
Some issues
A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized
Things I tried
