    Need help removing “Managed by: ABC Company” from BIOS on Surface Laptop 4 and 5

    Hello everyone,

    I need step-by-step guidance for an issue I’m facing. I’m a technician, and I have several Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 and Surface Laptop 5 devices that were MDM-locked through Autopilot.

    There is no BIOS password, and I successfully removed the Autopilot lock using PowerShell. The laptops now work fine, but the BIOS still shows “Managed by: ABC Company” under the Management section.

    I would like to know how to remove this management information from the BIOS without changing the serial number. I’ve searched a lot but couldn’t find any proper guidance.

    Any help or step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated.

      Hello everyone, I happen to have a Microsoft Surface Pro X 1876 in my hands. It was brought to me by a friends which happen to have taken off the bios chip to test another motherboard. Upon putting back the bios chip on the original motherboard, The PC is stucked on Windows logo and won t boot to bios or anything.       Hey. Sometime ago i bought broken surface pro 4 supposedly it was dead. But turns out it was just a faulty charger. Although when it powered on and after all updates, touchscreen didn't work it also doesn't work in UEFI.
