Cyberpower 1285AVR (CP1285AVRLCD) reporting wrong battery voltage?
          by Sean Devine
UPS turned off one night and it seemed that the 3 year old batteries gave out.

Replaced with a new pair, but the UPS software claimed the battery voltage was only 18 volts and needed to charge. After 24 hours, the UPS claimed only 60% charge and 20 volts (although FWIW, my meter sees 27v).

...then I found various Cyberpower threads here with some guidance on what to check.

          C1 (22uF) tested at 2, so I replaced that.

Put it all back together and didn't see a change on the reported battery voltage. Although, I did run the quick battery diagnostic...

          Cyberpower 1500AVR UPS repair
          by quickname
I'd like to start out by thanking this forum for providing the info to be able to repair my 15 year old CP1500AVRLCD UPS. Here is all the info I gathered during my trouble-shooting and re-capping.

Like clockwork, I've had to replace the SLA batteries every 4 years. It was about that time and the UPS was acting like it needed new batteries... randomly shutting off with AC present, not being able to charge fully, and poor runtime when AC was removed. So, I replaced the batteries but noticed that it was not charging properly.

I decided to verify that the batteries were...

          CyberPower 1350AVR and 1500AVR - Repair
          by pete_c
Both are older than years old now.

Pooling info here from what I have read.

Cyberpower 1500AVR takes 4-5 days to charge batteries after test depletion.

Made an RPi Nutserver for the rack and using PFSense for the telco area with an APC.

          Using Nutserver with Home Assistant.

          Last week ordered

22UF 50V Electrolytic Radial Lead Capacitors
VIPer22A "Original" ST 8P DIP IC 2 pcs

Noticed that the old Cyberpower UPS's output...

          CyberPower Smart-UPS OL2000ERTXL2U not charging.
          by timakaze
So i have this UPS Cyberpower OL2000ERTXL2U that is no longer charging the batteries and i would like to try and figure out if its fixable ? It did throw up and error message on the LCD saying Charger Failure and so i powered it off and back on again and it no longer shows the error and seemed to be fine. But the batteries just go flat now and it dose not show any errors other than batteries low.

Have taken some pictures but i dont know where the charging circuit is or what parts to look out for to replace. Everything looks good. No swollen or leaking caps. No burnt or discolored...
