    Bios for HP 17-cn0076nr

    I received a laptop HP 17-cn0076nr, motherboard references 17 n-6L-GML, processor Pentium Silver N5030 with blank BIOS. How do I now write S/N, Build ID, ext.
    DMIFIT Tool 2.14 not support it`s motherbord.​

      Hi, can anyone help me rebuild bios for a HP 17-cn0076nr laptop. It's working but has a blank bios. System Board ID: 0883E, board# 17N-6L-GML
      Information from the sticker on bottom case :
      Model 17-cn0076nr
      ProdlD 63U65UA#ABA
      SN# 5CG4104H37
      Build ID: 21WW1VRT602#SABA#DABA

              Yes, I know I don't post this stuff much anymore....the only reason I'm posting this one is because of a NVMe adapter incompatibility; seems rather planned by Supermicro.....or I'm atleast a bit suspicious. It's plenty new enough to have a UEFI bios but a short 'happy list' of NVMe controllers that will work with this board, as if by some 'miracle', all Intel....so lets start at the beginning; we'll get back to this later.

              Of course the motherboard is as the thread title states; X10dai....but we'lre going to have some fun shoehorning this into a modern 'gamer case' that can actually...

              Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
              With original bios no POST, only LED lights
              With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
              Some issues
              A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
              B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

              Things I tried

              Hello, I have an old Dell G3 3579 (ST: 2WQ7LP2-8FC8) with a newer 8FC8 BIOS password. I have successfully attached to the flash chip (W25Q128JVSQ) on the motherboard with a CH341A programmer and made several modifications using Intel FIT (e.g., allow software SPI write) without bricking. I was also able to boot to a modified GRUB shell where I attempted to edit many BIOS security related options like BIOS Guard/Lock, Flash Signature Override, ME FW Image Re-Flash, etc.

              Unfortunately, some of these modifications like to Intel BIOS Guard failed because it is fused into the PCH. Also,...
