    Getac F110 G4 bios request

    Device: Windows tablet
    Brand: Getac
    Model: F110G4 (52628887XXXX)
    Board number: TF1-YH-PCB ; PWA-F110G4
    Serial number: RJ803F0624
Request: password and boot image removal
Problem: bios locked with password and annoying boot image
    CPU: i5

I can get a dump of the BIOS if only I could find it.
On other F110(G3, G2) threads I see that the dump size is around 8-9MB. The dump I got off of the winbond chip is ~1mb and another dump off of an MX chip is ~16MB.
Attached both just in case. Also a picture of the board itself.

I'd greatly appreciate pointing out the BIOS chip or helping me get my hands on a boardview or schematic.

    Thank you thank you

I'll give that a try and update. Thank you!

Thinking about it, the original dump file is probably big due to the boot splash-screen image. Hadn't thought of that earlier.

Flashed successfully, but password and boot splash screen still present.
        Computer does boot fine.

Did the dump I provide look like it's the right BIOS dump?

              Thank you SMDFlea.
I'm pretty new to this. Is the EC firmware programmed onto the winbond chip I got the smaller dump from?

Flashed the BIOS. No more splash screen and no BIOS password.

I really appreciate the assistance of you both!

you need an SPI programmer...here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHow

yes..you have to open it, buy a programmer, copy the contents of the bios and post it here...if you think you can't do it except ruin it, better go to a specialized workshop...

No, it is not that. If there are no other SOP8 ones on the board it must be a WSON8 chip, flat with no legs

I need a BIOS dump for the Samsung S49CG934SU monitor
                                        by Habble7
The Samsung S49CG934SU monitor does not power on - no LED indicator activity and no response to power button. However, when 21V power is connected, it immediately draws 0.8A of current with no display output. The motherboard processor gets warm, and there is continuous reading activity from the W25Q128BV BIOS chip.

                                        Suspected Cause:
I suspect the BIOS may have been corrupted during a power interruption while updating the firmware. The official website provides firmware updates, but they can only be installed via USB flash drive.

                                        Troubleshooting Attempts:
                                        ...

Need help for HP ProBook 445R G6 Secure boot key removal from BIOS dump
                                        by ktcar214
                                        Hello.
I tried to add a custom secure boot key (for secure booting Linux) to my bios, but after this, my laptop bricked. After adding secure boot key (via PowerShell) and enabling secure boot my laptop turns on, shows HP logo, and after 5 seconds it turns off and on, and it repeats forever.

My goal is to either turn off secure boot or remove my custom key from BIOS dump.
