You made a bad backup, open it with a hex editor and you`ll see, its filled with zeros. Your file has compressed down to 543 Bytes.

Depending on the suffix, 8FC8 etc, you might be able to unlock it yourself ,that is if you can make a good backup first.. https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...23#post1622423When flashing a BIOS always make a backup first. Take 2 or 3 different dumps and make sure they are identical.
On Windows, you can use the command "fc /b" to check if two dumps are identical.
Make sure that the dumps looks good, i.e. not filled with 0x00 or 0xFF. After compression, if the file has a size of only a few kilobytes, the EEPROM was most likely not read properly.

I have a Dell Latitude 5530 with a damaged RJ45 network connector. See the attached pictures.
Have already searched on Farnell / Aliexpress / Ebay and had contact with several suppliers on Aliexpress and Ebay, but they cannot deliver this connector.
Is there someone inside the EU, who has these connector(s) or perhaps defective motherboard(s) for these laptop models I have mentioned in the topic title.

My Dell Optiplex 3090 bios is locked with admin password. Worst of all, it seems.
Here is my system number 1THQMS3-8FC8.
I don't have the hardware to dump my bios, and I can't pay 400€ to hope to get a password from a guy I don't even know exists. So without conviction I'm wondering if anyone here can help me.

I am not experienced in electronics, but I really want to check if my idea is possible.
I have motherboard replaced from Dell Latitude 5520 (11th gen on i5 CPU).
BIOS/UEFI access on that MB/PC is blocked by password which I want to get it know - even if I need some bruteforcing or stupid manual activities.
There was no computrace activated.
