    ThinkPad E14 Gen 3 AMD NM-D481 Password

    I have attempted to remove the BIOS password from an E14 Gen 3 AMD:
    System Unit Serial Number PF30PWYB
    Machine type model 20YDS03T00
    Based on my experience with Intel machines and assuming that the password is stored in the EC, I made a backup of the EC, erased the EC and restored the backup.
    Unfortunately the password is still there.
    Can someone please tell me the correct way to do this?

              Good day. I apologize if I posted this in the wrong topic. I saw somebody selling a Thinkpad E495 with a Ryzen 3500U CPU near me. In the pictures the laptop is running windows 10. I contacted the seller and asked a few questions about upgradability and if it has a bios password on it. He confirmed it has a bios password. I searched through the forum, I found a guide regarding removing the bios password using the autopatcher, I also found a thread with the e495 where people requested help with unlocking the bios password.

              I have a laptop that was purchased second-hand, and I am able to boot Windows on and extract the BIOS dump (ONLY the BIOS region, I was unable to dump anything else due to an FCERR I received trying to dump the other regions) and use normally. However, because the BIOS is locked with a supervisor password, I am unable to use anything else except for Windows, and it has also disabled some hardware features of the laptop itself, such as the fingerprinting module, etc. that I really do wish to use.

              I have been digging around for nearly 2 weeks trying to find any mention of the same model...

              I didn't find a request for this specific SKU yet, but... I need the bios password removed from it.
              (The tamper protection triggered randomly one day)

              Hello, I have Lenovo Thinkpad T14s GEN 4 serial number GM-0FK2ER laptop. It was brought to me by a customer to reinstall windows. The problem is it is locked with a superviser password.
