Need to clear SVP on IdeaPad Flex-14API

I have an IdeaPad Flex-14API (SN:MP1QW0DQ) that has a supervisor password. This is NOT a pre-8th-gen Intel system. This system has an AMD Ryzen 3500U, which released around/with 9th generation Intel.
Immediately after pressing the power button and the unit turns on, the system asks for the "system password" in a small box in the center of the screen.
I would like to remove this password. My understanding is that the autopatcher only works with 8th gen or older Intel systems. I confirmed this belief when the autopatch script itself threw an error when trying to tweak the bin I got off this laptop.
My understanding is that after 2018/8th gen Intel, Lenovo laptops added a self-healing BIOS feature that inadvertently acts as a security feature to prevent users from using an SPI flash crimp (what I have.)

Before I try something like this on my unit, can somebody who knows more than me hopefully point me in the right direction if there is one?

Additional info:
The BIOS chip is an XMC QH64AHIG
I am not sure if the ch341a I have will support this. flashrom does not recognize the chip, but it will read and create a dump. in uefitool, it says "not a single volume top file is found, the image may be corrupted"
