The EC on this is npcx998 The board doesn't turn on at the moment even after clean the me. I doesn't know how to clean the nvram, maybe that would help.

The replacment cpu is prom a known good motherboard so I can cross the possibilities off a bad donor

            If possible please help me.

            Thanks in advance

The PCH has intel boot guard. You could only use that SOC as a donor for another dell

                        Hello everyone,

While desoldering the BIOS chip on motherboard [HP Dragonfly G4 , 5CG4425PBB], I might have accidentally removed a nearby SMD component.

I’m attaching close-up photos of the area.
Could anyone identify what part should be here (resistor, capacitor, diode, etc.) and its value?
Also, will the board boot without it, or is it critical?

                        Thank you in advance!

I have an HP Dragonfly 13.5" G4 (SN 5CG4425PBB) which does not start.
                          Symptoms:
                          - When I press the power button, the screen stays black.
                          - The power LED blinks 7 times in a repeating cycle.
                          - No reaction on external display.
                          - Tried key combos (Win+B, Esc+F2) for BIOS recovery – no success.
                          - Full power reset (battery disconnected, power button 30 sec) – no effect.

                          What I suspect:
                          Looks like a corrupted BIOS.

                          Questions:
                          1. Does 7 blinks on Dragonfly G4 really mean BIOS failure, or could it be something else?
                          2. Does anyone have a clean BIOS dump for this model / same motherboard?

Any help or a working dump would be greatly appreciated.

does not turn on. There is a reaction to the power button: the consumption rises to 0.10 A, some of the voltages rise, and after a minute everything turns off. The resistances are normal.
                                      Please share the bios.
