Hello, my BIOS is corrupted, when I start the laptop the blink code is 5 long, 3 short.

Please find the original bios attached.

Copy the DMI (serial,feature Byte,win key) from your backup to the virgin bios using a hex editor

Offsets:

61B000 - 61B0FF
61C000 - 61C0FF
63E000 - 63E03F

Yeah, tried that, but there is no dialog after extracting, as described in post 3.
All I get is a file named 0827EF52_WIN.EXE



I tried with Windows 10 and Windows 11. Please find the HP-BIOS I use attached.

It extracted ok for me using win 10 . Virgin bios attached.If you can`t add the DMI yourself let us know

Thanks, I´ve tried, but AMIUCP fail to extract.

It will extract ,but there is no AMI , choose @R00 from the ID list instead,scroll down its at the bottom.Left click on it once and it will be entered into the UAF ID .Name the output file bios.bin or rom.bin
