Preflash Super IO chip
I was wondering if you guys know anyone that sells Super IO chip ITE IT8390-256 flashed with your specific laptop. Im debating to see if this available out there vs buying chip and programmer myself. Right now the chip plus programmer is about $60. But i still need the file that goes on chip. The laptop is RAZER BLADE 15 RZ09-0369.

This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

Hello everyone,
anyone here who has experience with replacing the super IO chip of an ROG ally?
I have one on my bench which has a burnt super io (ITE 5125VG-192). On some devices the super-io downloads it's firmware from BIOS if it's empty. As i don't have a programmer for this chips i hope someone here has already changed the chip and can give me a hint if it's working with an empty chip if it needs external programming.

Razer blade 2022, 14" PI480, Ryzen 6900HX, 16gb ram
I picked up a Razer blade 14" (2022) from a friend who said it "overheated" and he replaced one of the fans. He gave up on it as windows wouldn't work/re-install. He gave it to me, and i've been working on getting linux on it. Installing Mint i was able to get about 1/4 through the installer before it froze. Now i can't even get the installer to boot. I am met with a kernel panic.... sometimes. Sometimes it just hangs on the boot sequence.

I’m new. Not a technician but dabble in soldering / repairs as a hobby.
I’ve got hold of a Razer Blade 14 RZ09-01953 which doesn’t appear to be able to produce a display. It will power on ok, fans spin up, cpu, gpu + chipset get warm but no display.
Has 19.78v across the board on all the fuses and 5v and 3.3v present at the two 2R2 resistors near the psu area of the board.
The previous owner said he was flashing the bios and it died so suspect (for now) it needs a new bios chip.
I ordered one from a company...
