Machine boots into bios setup without problem - in security no passwords.
But after load setup defaults is password back

I have tested to set new supervisor password, reboot , delete password....but again is old password back after load bios defaults.

      SSD is still locked

I think it`s a VAS 6160A. Try supervisor passwort v6w1p6a0 or if is a french or belgian product use v6z1p6q0. On both passwords the last digit is a zero,

              by outsider
              Hello
I removed the BIOS password thanks to the help of one of the friends of this forum.
              https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...61#post3637661

The batch from which the password was removed works correctly but... after some time, the BIOS password is set again, I reprogrammed the batch with the removed password, it's ok, there is no password, I set my password, ok, I can enter the BIOS with my password but...

[REQUEST] ASUS TUF A15 FA506NF (2021) - Clean BIOS dump needed (UEFI Password locked)
              by ArkzG
Hey guys, I have an "ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506NF (2021)" that's locked with a UEFI password, I need to reprogram the BIOS chip but can't find a clean ".bin" file for this specific model, I've tried the official BIOS updates from ASUS support page, but they're 32MB updaters that don't extract to a usable 2MB .bin file for direct chip programming.

              What I currently have available:
              - Model: FA506NF (2021)
              - BIOS chip: GD25LQ16 (16Mbit/2MB)
              - Tools: CH341A programmer ready to use

Does anyone have either a clean 2MB .bin dump of this model,...

Asus Tuf A15 FA507RE Bios Password Locked
              by Dapump91
              Hello,

I have a 2022 Asus Tuf A15 that I haven’t used in almost a year, but I went to boot it up to install some new games and all I get is the black “enter password” screen. I don’t remember ever setting a password, and none of my regular passwords work. I can’t log into Windows at all. I called Asus and their only option is to send it in and pay $80 before they’ll even tell me how much it’ll cost to reset/erase the password. I would love not to have to do that, do I have any other options? Thank you in advance.
