Hello. Customer tried to update BIOS via Lenovo software. Update has been failed and unit was dead completely. I found working BIOS dump and flashed it. Now unit turns on very slowly, and, after every booting it tries to recover ME firmware and fails everytime. Also, unit can't detect nvme disk, so i can't boot windows to flash ME with Lenovo software. Can someone provide to me 100% working dump? There're 2 flash IC's: U49 and U801. I flashed only U49. Thanks in advance.

Hi there, firstly, this site is amazing and so glad I found it, I was lucky enough to recover some devices from a friends old garage clear out, one of them was a X1 Carbon 9th Gen, it was working great until I connected it to the internet and then it froze, it has computrace/absolute protection on it and i do not know the bios password either, if you could let me know how I can get this sorted that would be greatly appreciated! Details are as follows:
Serial Number: PF-3NGLSN
Type Number: 20XW-CT01WW
Assuming you have the correct file to flash the bios, can you recommend what gadget I need to get that done? Im in the UK and have found this on amazon:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/KeeYees-SOI...1&sr=8-1-fkmr0
let me know if thats a good tool, thanks in advance!!

Any tool will do it. Cheap CH programmer or raspberry pi. I recommend the bios clip mainly to not have to desolder.
Imo, this thread is very helpful to me. I hardware read the bios and it looks like this guy's:Instead I'm used to dump looking like this:
So now I look for versions like the latter and it's 1.68(N32ET92W) maybe if I downgrade to that version my rom becomes normal and not weird like this:
Not super hopeful though because his post is on 1/19/2024 and that date already AFTER this bios is released.

Hi FeerBaron, unfortunately I am new to this and dont quite follow your suggestion, I have the following programmer - KeeYees SOP8 SOIC8 Test Clip for EEPROM 25CXX / 24CXX + CH341A 24 25 Series EEPROM Flash BIOS USB Programmer
I am using RT809F Serial ISP Programmer software version 20190508 and cannot find my programmer listed in the supported devices, do you know how to get that working or what other software I should be using?
