yes, those hm55 and similar all get bad very easy. my hp is a core duo. and it's like it has only one bios chip instead of 2 for bios + ec.

Here is a new bios dump and Ec dump ...the ec is the 128K so don't put it on wrong chip...if this bios don't work it's because there are two other version in the update ...so you would either have to upload the original file for me to compare which file is on your board or just read sticker under battery and tell me the version.

hi, i have chicago hr hpc mv mb v1 hp 630 intel pentium, it turn on but blank screen i tryed your ec bios but nothing. i attachment original ec bios on my board,can you help me? thanks very much
