Hi can someone please help me with this file, the laptop tries to power up and the fan flickers a bit , keyboard lights up and the laptop seems to do a restart but doesn't post or display the power led stays white, the bios chip looked like it was removed and maybe not putback properly.
    Service tag JDP7LS3
    Thanks

try. It may ask to type your service tag after write bios I provided. Your bios is very old, ver. 1.0.1 , if you want to upgrade it do it gradually (i.e: to 1.8.0, then to 1.14.0 and so on) and not to last version, it happened to me to brick it.

I've got two Latitude 3440 with the same issue: bios is locked.

                      first one:
                      ST: 3C42312

                      second one:
                      ST: FB42312

                      thanks!

What kind of software would you recommend to make the dump?

Are you using software or an SPI programmer to make the backup.

No good, you must use an SPI programmer to make a full backup. What is the password suffix, is it 3C42312-8FC8 or something else

There is no suffix. Checked it both on the tag itself, as through command prompt. It is an old laptop, somewhere between 2013-2014 I suppose.
