Hello, I need your help. I have a Legion 5 17IMH05 with serial number PF30XFQY

Here is the link to the device:

                https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/de/de/p...xfqy/downloads

The problem is that the device no longer starts. I have a black screen and the fans run for 3 seconds then the device switches off and starts again. I read the BIOS with a CH341A and the NeoProgrammer program.

Can you tell me from the bios dump whether everything is OK or whether I should import a new bios ?

I installed an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti - 4GB. That's not a problem with the bios from post 2?

Edit: Yes! It works again! Is there a way to add the serial number and this other information?

Try this posted bios if you have any issue than flash previous bios and use dmi toll to fill the dmi information

Copy the DMI from your backup to the new bios from post 2 using a hex editor, offsets 532000 - 533FFF or try the attached script, see the README text file

Wow! You guys are absolutely amazing! Everything worked! Can I now upgrade to the latest BIOS version from Lenovo or will there be problems?

You may go for latest version from lenovo support by downloading exe file update manually

Okay. I will try it next Step. Thank you very much for all.

Does Lenovo's BIOS also update the EC chip or do I have to update it manually?
