finding a replacement BIOS flash chip as backup for repair.

I am looking at a SONY VAIO laptop motherboard that may have a corrupted BIOS and after some research (squinting hard on the motherboard components) I found a flash chip. It is Eon EN25F80-75HCP.
some spec include 100Mhz max clock speed, 2.7-3.6V input voltage, and 4K page of 256 bytes, etc.

I can't find a suitable replacement on digikey or mouser with exact specs. If anyone can help locate a vendor with good parts that would be great.

If I must choose a different value for some of the specs what can I change and expect that it still work? I imagine that I have to keep clock rating and voltage exact, how about memory page configurations?

See page 32. - Other variations of that PN might work too.

Thanks, I have seen that datasheet. I need a vendor for this part, both digikey and mouser don't carry it.

If you cant find it, you could go to ebay and find a bad board for cheap that has it on it. I have had to do that before, with other chips.

PS did you try a Crisis Bios Recovery Disk? you may be able to just reflash it.

this (among many other) should work:

your original part has 75MHz max. clock speed, so there are plenty of alternatives.
