Terra Mobile 1542K

Hi,

I made a mistake when running bios/EC/ME update on a Terra Mobile 1542K.

In fact it is a CLEVO N350DW.

We can find service manual here :

This motherboard has 2 IC CHIP :
- ME ROM
- BIOS ROM

We can find all the files bios, ec... here :

I can program chips but I don't which file to take for each chip.

Someone could help me ?

Could you explain how to program this ?

Because the files BIOS.ROM is 5MB and the BIOS+EC chip is 8MB and ME.ROM is 16MB and the ME IC chip is only 8MB !

So I am a little bit confused could someone help me to understand ?

So my laptop is a CLEVO N350DW.

After a bios upgrade and an error, the laptop boot but I have a black screen and the fan is spinning.

So I think I need to flash the two IC chips.

Both chips are GD25B64CSIGR so 64Mbit => 8MB, aren't they ?

I can find thanks to a link on this forum BIOS.ROM and ME.ROM but there are two problems :
- BIOS.ROM is only 5MB so how to flash it on the 8MB IC chip ?
- ME.ROM is 16MB ! The IC chip is only 8MB so how to do ?

We are agree that BIOS.ROM goes into U46 ?
And ME.ROM goes into U47 ?

I backup my two chips and I tried to load my me bios into Flash Image Tool but I have an error (see picture).

When I analyze file with ME Analyzer it can read it fine (see picture).

Please help me

My IC CHIP for ME ROM is only 8MB so I don't understand.

It's not a matter of just dividing the bios file, the problem is this. Are you sure the model is CLEVO N350DW

me_ter.bin => it's my U47 IC CHIP third backup

But cannot be loaded by Flash Image Tool don't understand why (MEanalyzer can read it)

And which outimage I take the first one ??

Bios.rom is only 512Kb, actually this is EC file, flashed to U47 IC CHIP (To be sure, I need the name of this chip)

- ME.ROM goes into U47 as it is written "ME" on the board

Something needs to be clarified:
Me.rom will flash Outimage1.(it contains ME region )
Bios.rom will flash Outimage2
For now, don't pay attention to the BIOS.rom file (512Kb)

- I desoldered the chip U46 and backup it with my programmer with the name U46_backup (...).bin
- I desoldered the chip U47 and backup it with my programmer with the name U47_backup (...).bin (the old name is the famous me_ter.bin)

So now I have 2 8MB files.

I put my files again because it seems my first backup (bios+ec) of U46 was not good.

Ok,Now I understand. File Outimage(1) is the file containing ME region .
