I need BIOS file for ASUS VIVOBOOK 17 X712F.
Motherboard number : X512FF REV 2.2
This one is without a discrete GPU.
the dump file is attached downside.

If the bios at post #2 doesn`t work post a picture of the long white barcode sticker,near the ram slots

Hey Repdata,
thank you for the reply, but your BIOS seems to be from Asus site, did you mod it ? cuz it doesn't look like the original one at all.
Plz confirm i don't want to damage the board.

you didn't mention the actual issue of your laptop
is it no pwr or no image

Her is your bios

old bios fixed + new bios with dmi

try old first if no luck than go for new one

The laptop powers on but there is no image.
All the power rails are present exept for one going the cpu i think it's VCCGT but im not sure (schematic isn't available).
The VCCGT is present at the beginning then turns off but the power good signal is HIGH so i think the cpu is requesting it off.
The laptop comes with Onboard RAM, i tried to disable it by editing the BIOS but no luck.

Any help i woud appreciate.

Unfortunately, both bios didn't work.
but whats the meaning of DMI ??!

Hello

This computer is blocked with the BIOS password on boot, the procedure with Alt+R does not work on this model, then I of course watched other topics about this computer in this forum , I tried the dumps proposed without success.

Please can anyone fix the original dump to reset the password ? I joined it .

Thank you hoaca388, i tried this dump but it did not work at all.

After burned and verified ok, the computer did not even want to power on. Looks dead. I restored the original BIOS to verify, no hardware damages.
