I'm attempting to reset the BIOS on a Dell 7220 rugged laptop.

It's a 8FC8

SN:7Q2PTG2

I've read a great post by Pier on this forum but there are some gaps in my knowledge.

Is there are paid program or way to get the master password?

If not what programmer should I get Svod3/4?
What software should I use with the programmer?
Where is the BIOS chip located on this computer model?
How to skilled members on this forum cook a new BIOS to remove the master password?

Svod4 with his own soft.there's many video at youtube learning how to use it .

Therer's a paid software ( i don't know at wich site ) , at badcaps we help each others by free solution only .

You must have a hot air to desolder the bios chip , read it by svod , post it here and somone will help you

With an SPI programmer. Read the guides https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...21#post1622421 .If that`s something you don`t feel like you can do yourself take the laptop to a repair shop or sell for parts.

Havn`t you checked all the local PC and phone repair shops to see if any of them can do it.
