Can you help me fix this file? When the adapter is connected without the battery (since the battery is damaged), only the orange indicator blinks 8 times. When I press the power button, it also blinks 8 times and keeps doing the same.

i've purchased a new programmer. flashed the EC bios and now to CAPS LOCK flashes 7 times... It still seems a BIOS problem... is there any way to know if the forum BIOS are compatible with my hardware?

There are two bios versions for this model: U72/U85.
    You must choose U85.โ€‹

I think the EC Bios is corrupt because I can't read it with a chip reader. I was able to read the main bios. Can somebody confirm me if the main bios is OK? Can I flash a EC Bios from this post?

    Regards,
Okay, you can try, main bios seems fine.

Bricked HP Probook 450 G7 Bios questions
    by studdy05
Hp Probook 450 G7 s# SCD0348W35 had a locked BIOS. Bought BIOS and EC chips off Ebay that were supposed to match this machine - the 450 G7. Flashed in the BIOS on chip i bought using a CH341. BIOS unlocked next boot. Some error to contact HP. Entered BIOS and reset to system defaults and rebooted. Machine worked fine but every cold boot the contact HP message popped and everything else worked as fine. Assumed the error was from EC chip not matching BIOS that i just flashed in. So i flashed in the EC that was supposed to match from the EBay chip i bought and instant brick.

    Ive got...

    ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ MSI GP75 Leopard MS-17E71 โ€“ No Display, Deep BIOS/EC Troubleshooting
    by macabook
    Hello everyone,

Iโ€™m currently working on a dead MSI GP75 Leopard (MS-17E71) motherboard (i7 CPU, NVIDIA GPU) with a no display/no backlight issue initially. After extensive investigation, Iโ€™m at a critical stage involving EC firmware, BIOS/ME region interaction, and possible deep corruption. I'm seeking advanced insight from anyone with experience in EC/BIOS sync issues or PCH-level behavior. Hereโ€™s a full breakdown:
    ๐Ÿงฉ Initial Issue
    • Board powers on (fans spin, keyboard lights up and can be adjusted, caps lock led lights), but no display or backlight
    • External display (HDMI) shows

Need (unlocked) bios for HP Probook 450 G3 Notebook
    by the_raz
I'm requesting a bios .bin for 2 of my hp Probook 450 G3's. Both of which I had forgotten the bios passwords. I stupidly flashed both of them with firmware "made" by the RCUnlocker software and I guess I shouldn't have. The last thing I did was flash both of them with RCUnlocker-fw thinking it would 100% work and left my programmer etc behind and won't have access to them for another 2 days so I figured I'd create a thread to see if I'd be so lucky that someone might have a working file laying around ๐Ÿ˜

    ASUS TP500LA BIOS request/repair/merge?
    by jbonavita
Hi, my laptop wont boot at all
With original bios no POST, only LED lights
With alternative BIOS from model TP500LN (flashed via programmer) the notebook works again
    Some issues
    A- with bios from 500LN, it won't update from bios of model 500LA (from 500LN v203 to 500LA v300)
B- If updated from 500LN version 203 to 300, the battery stops being recognized

    Things I tried

1- Update / clear ME: Took the non working bios, made a backup, and did this: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...theory/trouble...
