    Asus FX553VD Keyboard Problem

    The keyboard of our Asus FX553VD model device does not work. We replaced the IT8587E FXA chip, but the result did not change. There is no liquid contact path rupture on the motherboard. 3-4 keys are pressed but different characters appear. For example, the F6 key works like the F9 key. Of course, 99% of the keys don't work in general. We wrote main bios and Ec bios but the result did not change. Is there anyone who can help with this? I installed bios backups.

          The problem persists on the new keyboard as well as on its own keyboard.

                  Hi. I have a problem with Asus ROG GA402RK. The keyboard suddenly stopped working along with the kb backlight. I replaced the keyboard and the ITE KBC chip and the problem is still the same. I don't see any passive elements that look damaged. Does anyone have an idea?

                  Hello, I have a Dell 15R-5521, with the problem that the Ctrl, Alt, Shitf and Num Lock keys do not work, I tested the keyboard with a keyboard tester and it is functional, I also got another new keyboard and the computer has the same problem with the same keys. Check continuity between the ZIF connector from the keyboard to the KBC and all pins are correct. I cleaned the ZIF connector and the KBC and I still have the same problem. I reinstalled windows just in case, and it didn't work. I updated the BIOS to the latest version A16 and there were no changes.

                  Hi there, bit of a weird one here.

                  Got this laptop that has "ghosting" issues with the keyboard... Although it's actually an issue with the board. Basically most of the kb keys won't work even in Bios but in windows i keep having the PrtScr activated or the toggle between cooling modes activated or random keys filling up text fields.

                  What I have done so far:
                  - Inspected for liquid damage under the microscope and cannot see any indication any liquid came anywhere near this machine. I cannot see any damaged components either.

                  Hello, I have lenovo legion 5 15imh05 (board: nm-c911) and I have a problem with a keyboard.
                  When I hold power button for ~30 seconds or unplug RTC battery keyboard will work only one time. After laptop reset or shutdown, keyboard won't work.
                  In 90% cases when I unplug power supply and turn on laptop on a battery, keyboard works even after plugging power supply - I can't turn on laptop with a power supply and get keyboard working.
                  Shortcuts Fn + F1-F12 are working. Keyboard is fine.
                  I replaced IT8176FN-56A and reprogram it with a dump from previous chip and it worked for...
