Hi, is it possible to repair my Bios-Dump S/N :PF18QYJR ? The L480 only powerbutton light on, nothing more.

thx hardware1, i think there is another error, your Bios has the same Problem ( only light on Powerbutton ).
There is another BiosChip, 25Q80... can you tell me what this chip do ?
Is this the problem ?

I hope you can help me, the problem I have is that my L480 computer does not turn on, when using the Lenovo tool the error code 0258 "TCG-compliant functionality-related error" is detected, I read in several forums that flashing the BIOS can help to solve it, but when trying to install the bios for this topic I get a size error, my computer is a Lenovo L480 on the motherboard it is NS-461 and the bios chip is a winbond 25Q80DVSIG (W25Q80DV 3V 8M- BIT)

Wrong chip, thats only 1MB (8 mega bits) .

Thank you very much for the clarification, do a lot more research to find the correct chip and the equipment now works correctly.

Actually mentioning that it was the wrong chip helped me a lot.

Hi all,

I have a couple of L480 with issues if anyone can help please.

First one has a corrupted BIOS and would not boot. I flashed a working file from a different L480 and it boots but goes off after 10sec.

Second L480 has "0188: Invalid RFID Serialization Information Area" on boot.

Original BIOS dumps attached (these had passwords but I have now removed them).

Both are 20LT-S4SP00. board NM-B461

SN (bad flash): PF1EPTCK
SN2 (RFID error): PF1H1V7H
